Greenslopes Private Hospital for adults, and the Queensland Children’s Hospital for children. Brisbane consultations stay at the Spring Hill rooms.

If you live outside Brisbane

Many patients come from regional Queensland and northern New South Wales. Not every appointment needs a trip to the city: Dr Tollesson also consults in Toowoomba and Townsville.

Telehealth video consultations are available for patients in Medicare-approved regions. They suit follow-up appointments and scan reviews particularly well, and some first consultations, provided the imaging has already been done and released. The rooms will tell you whether telehealth is an option for your appointment when you book.

Surgery, and the pre-operative assessment that goes with it, is done in Brisbane. Where a hospital stay is needed, the rooms can help you plan the trip around it.

Toowoomba: St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital

Dr Tollesson consults at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital, 280 North Street, Rockville QLD 4350, for patients in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Appointments are booked through the Spring Hill rooms on (07) 3870 3708.

Townsville: monthly clinic

Dr Tollesson consults once a month at 5 Fulham Road, Pimlico, Townsville QLD 4812, for patients in North Queensland. Call the rooms on (07) 3870 3708 for the next clinic date.

Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme

Patients from Rockhampton, Gladstone, Mackay and surrounding areas may be eligible for the Queensland Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme, which contributes to travel and accommodation costs for specialist care that is not available locally. Ask the rooms when you book; the application usually starts with your GP.
